Aphéa é uma banda instrumental de Genebra, Suíça, formada por Nikos Charalampous (guitarra, bateria), Toscan Donat (guitarra) e Dimitris Stafylakis (baixo). O álbum ‘Ego and Archetype’ apresenta uma experiência reflexiva e singular, fruto de uma abordagem autêntica e espontânea. Inspirado pelas teorias de Carl Jung e pela espiritualidade, o disco explora paisagens sonoras envolventes por meio de timbres e texturas cuidadosamente trabalhados. Suas seis faixas, que somam 29 minutos, utilizam dinâmicas lentas e gradativas, mesclando ambient, pós-rock e drone de maneira fluida e orgânica. Com camadas sonoras sobrepostas, o trabalho constrói uma atmosfera densa e meditativa, levando o ouvinte a uma imersão profunda e hipnótica.

Aphéa is an instrumental band from Geneva, Switzerland, formed by Nikos Charalampous (guitar, drums), Toscan Donat (guitar) and Dimitris Stafylakis (bass). The album ‘Ego and Archetype’ presents a reflective and singular experience, the result of an authentic and spontaneous approach. Inspired by Carl Jung’s theories and spirituality, the album explores immersive soundscapes through carefully crafted timbres and textures. Its six tracks, which total 29 minutes, use slow and gradual dynamics, mixing ambient, post-rock and drone in a fluid and organic way. With overlapping sound layers, the work builds a dense and meditative atmosphere, taking the listener into a deep and hypnotic immersion.
