By condensing their structure, Oldham, England-based Mercy Kelly deliver a debut EP, “Summer of Silence”, a manifesto centered on economical arrangements and atmospheric expansion. Spanning four tracks and just over 15 minutes, the record serves as an X-ray of a year defined by resilience and creative reinvention following a string of singles released in 2025.
The sound emerging from sessions split between Liverpool and Manchester is post-punk with a strong melodic lineage tracing back to the 1980s.
