Quem é você/quem é você como artista ou banda?
Eu sou de Indianápolis, Indiana. Cresci em coral e dançando a minha vida inteira, o que realmente me ajudou a aprimorar meus talentos cedo, me preparando para algo que eu não sabia que fazia parte do meu caminho. Cresci ouvindo de tudo, desde R&B dos anos 90, como Michael Jackson Oldies, até o Pop moderno e sucessos de clube que eu ouvia no rádio ou online.
Como você descreveria sua jornada até agora?
Tem sido uma das melhores montanhas-russas da minha vida. Desde ter minha música publicada em Nova Orleans, até receber críticas de blogs do mundo todo, e até mesmo poder finalmente ter um dos meus álbuns em vinil; tudo tem sido um turbilhão. Definitivamente não pretendo tirar o pé do acelerador tão cedo.
Conte-nos sobre o lançamento que você está promovendo.
Eu o escrevi no início e no meio do meu relacionamento. Nesse período, passei por uma espécie de transformação, tendo que me perder para me encontrar novamente. Este álbum fez isso. Além do aspecto pessoal, passei muito tempo elaborando isso, então parece o mais vivido de todos os meus projetos até agora.
O que os ouvintes/leitores podem esperar do seu trabalho no futuro?
Tenho mais algumas surpresas em andamento. Tenho mais algumas colaborações chegando, bem como uma edição deluxe do meu álbum, prevista para sair no final do ano. Também tenho mais alguns visuais nos quais tenho trabalhado para realmente complementar o projeto. Mal posso esperar para que as pessoas vejam tudo o que tenho feito para realmente expandir este mundo que criei.
Que mensagem você gostaria de deixar para seus ouvintes?
O tempo não espera. Se há algo que você quer fazer, você tem que acreditar em si mesmo e fazê-lo. Faça com medo, com exaustão, com medo, seja lá o que for que você tenha que fazer, simplesmente faça. Permita-se entrar em seu poder e realizar o potencial que existe dentro de você. Haverá pessoas lá para torcer por você ou até mesmo odiar você, mas como isso te faz sentir e a realização que isso traz é tudo o que importa.

Who are you/who are you as an artist or band?
I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. I grew up in choir and dancing my entire life, which really helped me hone in on my talents early, preparing me for something I didn’t know was a part of my path. I grew up listening to everything from 90s RnB like Michael Jackson Oldies, all the way to the modern Pop and club bangers I would hear on the radio or online.
How would you describe your journey so far?
It’s been one of the best rollercoasters of my life. From getting my music published in the New Orleans, to getting reviews from blogs all over the world, and even being able to finally hold one of my albums on vinyl; its all been such a whirlwind. I definitely do not plan on taking my foot off of the gas pedal anytime soon.
Tell us about the release you’re promoting.
I wrote this in the beginning to middle stages of my relationship. In this time, I went through a transformation of sorts, having to lose myself to find myself again. This album did that. Aside from the personal aspect, I spent a lot of time crafting this, so it feels like the most lived-in of all of my projects so far.
What can listeners/readers expect from your work in the future?
I have some more surprises in the works. I have a couple more collabs coming as well as a deluxe edition of my album, set to drop towards the end of the year. I also have some more visuals I have been working on to really complement the project. I really cannot wait for people to see all that I have been working on to really expand on this world that I have created.
What message would you like to leave for your listeners?
Time does not wait. If there is something you wanna do, you gotta believe in yourself and do it. Do it scared, exhausted, full of fear, whatever you gotta do, just do it. Allow yourself to step into your power and fulfill the potential that is inside of you. There will be people there to root for you or even hate on you, but how it makes you feel and the fulfillment it brings is all that matters.
